Frank Powolny (13 August 1901- 1986) , Vienna, Austria. He was the son of the court photographer to Emperor Franz Josef. The family emigrated in America in 1914. He arrived in Los Angeles in 1920 and he was at Fox from 1923 until 1966. About the photograph with the lame it is not sure that it is from Powolny. This photograph was showed in a Los Angeles gallery with the name of the photographer Gene Kornman.
